Following a brief summer break, Chef Marc Thuet and his wife and business partner Biana Zorich re-open their popular King Street West eatery with a new name and a new menu this September tempting patron’s into Bite Me!. It’s a provocative invitation to experience the gastronomy that Thuet is renowned for.
Patrons will appreciate the new range of prices (all mains under $30, all apps under $17) and the addition of a new social dining menu that invites parties of two or more to experience Thuet’s masterful cooking with a four-course tasting menu ($48pp) that changes daily and is served generously on platters family-style. The popular five-course tasting menu for which the restaurant is best known will still be available but by reservation only.
“We want people to come in and enjoy our space and not be intimidated to step through the door and venture up the stairs,” says Marc. “We want our restaurant to mirror the pulse we’re feeling on the street.” Bite Me! is tailored to its surroundings on King Street West of Spadina, a neighbourhood that continues to grow and mature, carving out its own unique space in the Toronto landscape.
Filling in with countless new condominium projects, niche boutiques and an active nightlife, this strip of the city is busier than it’s ever been before. Experience Bite Me! six days a week.
